Boulder County commissioners on Tuesday are to hold a public hearing on their Parks and Open Space Department’s proposal for a $2.6 million package of capital improvements next year.
The costs of projects within that overall package would range from $5,000 for new trailside public-education interpretive panels at several locations to a $900,000 set of restoration work to streams, floodplains and habitat damaged in the 2013 floods.
The Parks and Open Space proposal up for commissioners’ consideration includes a long-range capital improvements program the department now plans through the year 2022, as well as the specific projects that would be included in the $2.6 million to be spent next year.
